Description of Services

Chesterfield Sump Pump Repair provides an online platform connecting homeowners and property owners in Chesterfield, Missouri and surrounding areas with licensed, insured sump pump contractors who provide sump pump repair, replacement, installation, maintenance, and related services (the “Contractor Services”).

Important Distinctions:

We Are a Referral Service: Chesterfield Sump Pump Repair operates as a lead generation and referral service. We connect customers with independent, third-party contractors who perform the actual sump pump work. We do not directly provide sump pump repair, installation, or maintenance services.

Independent Contractors: All sump pump work is performed by independent, licensed contractors who are not our employees, agents, or representatives. These contractors operate their own businesses and are solely responsible for the services they provide.

No Guarantee of Service: While we strive to connect you with qualified, reliable contractors, we do not guarantee that a contractor will be available, that services will be performed to your satisfaction, or that contractors will meet any specific standards beyond basic licensing and insurance requirements.

Contractor Relationships

Independent Contractors:

All sump pump services are performed by independent contractors who are not our employees, agents, or representatives. Each contractor:

  • Operates their own independent business
  • Sets their own pricing and terms
  • Maintains their own licensing and insurance
  • Is solely responsible for the quality and safety of their work
  • Makes their own decisions about which jobs to accept

No Employment Relationship:

We do not employ any technicians or contractors. We do not control, direct, or supervise contractors’ work. Contractors are not authorized to make representations or commitments on our behalf.

Contractor Selection:

We use reasonable efforts to work with licensed and insured contractors, but we do not:

  • Conduct comprehensive background checks
  • Verify contractors’ qualifications beyond basic licensing and insurance
  • Monitor ongoing contractor performance in detail
  • Guarantee contractor quality, reliability, or professionalism

Your Responsibility:

You are responsible for:

  • Verifying contractor credentials before allowing them to perform work
  • Negotiating price, scope of work, and terms directly with the contractor
  • Ensuring you understand what work will be performed before it begins
  • Inspecting completed work before making final payment
  • Resolving any disputes directly with the contractor

Pricing and Payment

No Direct Fees:

We do not charge you any fees for using our Site or connecting you with contractors. Our services to homeowners are provided free of charge.

Contractor Pricing:

All pricing for actual sump pump services is determined by the independent contractor, not by us. Contractors set their own prices, payment terms, and policies.

Payment to Contractors:

You will pay contractors directly for their services. We do not process payments, hold funds, or handle financial transactions between you and contractors.

Price Estimates:

Any price ranges or estimates shown on our Site are for general informational purposes only and are not binding quotes. Actual pricing will be provided by the contractor after they assess your specific situation.

No Refunds:

Since we do not charge fees or process payments, we do not provide refunds. Any payment or refund issues must be resolved directly with the contractor who performed the work.
